Voidwrought Speedrunning Competition

Take part in our first ever Voidwrought speedrunning competition for a chance to win up to $250 USD in Steam gift cards!

Before you enter, please read the rules of the competition below carefully:

1. Players must use the Livesplit Timer on their videos to verify their times;
2. Players must not revert back to older builds of Voidwrought. They must play on the latest build available at the time of their run. Updates to the game may occur during the duration of the competition, so please update your build before recording your run;
3. Players are permitted to abuse all game mechanics and glitches to get the lowest time;
4. Players who edit their videos or try to cheat their time in any way will be immediately disqualified and ineligible to re-enter;
5. Players can submit multiple runs throughout the competition for both categories. When the competition ends, only the fastest run for each category will be counted;
6. All players can enter both categories;
7. All entries will be verified by the developer and publisher team for Voidwrought before a winner is selected;
8. Players must play on a brand new save file. This can be created when pressing 'New Journey' in the main menu and will mark the start of the run. They cannot exploit any glitches that would allow them to play on an old save file, even if they have selected 'New Journey' in the process;
9. For Category 1, players must defeat the Council Boss and get the Ledge Grab ability in the clip for it to qualify.

Category 1 - The Council Boss Fight & Ledge Grab

Run Start: Time starts when selecting New Journey in the main menu. Players may skip through the opening cut-scene.

Run End: Time ends when the player touches the Ledge Grab ability after defeating The Council boss. Time ends at the last input (i.e. the interact input to get the Ledge Grab ability).

1st Place Prize: £100 GBP (approx. $120 USD) Steam gift card

2nd Place Prize: £25 GBP (approx. $30 USD) Steam gift card

Category 2 - The Eternal Boss Fight

Run Start: Time starts when selecting New Journey in the main menu. Players may skip through the opening cut-scene.

Run End: Time ends when you defeat the Eternal Engine and the words "Herald Vanquished" appear on the screen.

1st Place Prize: £200 GBP (approx. $250 USD) Steam gift card

2nd Place Prize: £50 GBP (approx. $60 USD) Steam gift card

You can submit your run for each category by uploading a video file or by linking to a YouTube video.
