1. Definition of Terms. For the purpose of this document, the 2022 International Credit Union Month Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union Drawing may be referred to as “The drawing.” The winner may be referred to collectively as “The winner.”

2. No purchase is necessary. All entries have an equal chance of winning.

3. How to enter: During the promotion period, October 17-28, 2022, participants can enter to win through OnPoint Community Credit Union’s contest page, commenting on a promotional post, or tagging a relevant OnPoint social channel and using the #ICUDAY hashtag.

4. Prize: At the end of the promotion period, OnPoint will select one (1) winner. The winner will receive $1,000 at the sole discretion of OnPoint, plus an additional $1,000 will be sent to the winner’s chosen non-profit, so long as it fits within the eligibility guidelines.

5. Prize Drawing Details: The winner will be selected at OnPoint’s Montgomery Park office. The winner does not need to be present to win. The winner will receive $1,000, plus an additional $1,000 will be sent to their chosen non-profit. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name is drawn at random. In the instance that the winner fails to claim the prize, an alternate winner will be selected. All federal and state taxes and all other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitutions or transfers are permitted except at the sole discretion of OnPoint. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the promotion period.

6. Notification: Arrangements for prize distribution will be made via social media, dependent upon submission platform (Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram). The winner will have ten (10) calendar days from notification to accept the prize. The winner will be responsible for transporting the prize from OnPoint’s premises, if necessary. By accepting and/or using the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and likenesses for the purpose of advertisement, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions: By participating in 2022 International Credit Union Day Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless OnPoint and its respective agents, representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries and employees from any injuries, losses, damages, claims, and actions of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the drawing or acceptance, possession, use or inability to use the prize that may be awarded. OnPoint is not responsible for printing or typographical errors on any 2022 International Credit Union Day Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union Drawing-related materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, mutilated, postage-due or illegible entries. If in OnPoint’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the drawing, or any action that affects the administration, integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of the drawing, OnPoint reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries OnPoint believes have been submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend or terminate the prize and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. For a list of the prize winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to OnPoint Community Credit Union, PO Box 3750, Portland, OR 97208-3750, Attn: Marketing Services – 2022 International Credit Union Day Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union Drawing after the end of the promotion period. The list will be available to requests received on or before November 30, 2022.

8. Eligibility: The Drawing is open to individuals residing in Oregon and Washington. Age thirteen (13) years or older as of October 17, 2022. OnPoint employees, volunteers, their children,

step-children, grandchildren, and individuals living in the same household are ineligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Drawing is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and accept decisions of OnPoint as final in all matters relating to this promotion.

Non-Profit Eligibility: To be eligible, the submitter must nominate an eligible non-profit charity that provides its services within any county that OnPoint serves (Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Crook, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas, Gilliam, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Morrow, Multnomah, Polk, Sherman, Tillamook, Wasco, Washington, Wheeler, Yamhill in Oregon and Clark and Skamania counties in Washington). The submitter may represent eligible charities as an administrator, staff, or faculty member of the charity, or an officer of an affiliated group. OnPoint is committed to fostering inclusive communities and therefore supports organizations that do not discriminate with regard to staff, board, volunteers, vendors, membership, and provision of services, on the basis of age, race, national origin (ancestry), ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, family/parental status, military status, political affiliation, religion, or income derived from a public assistance program. OnPoint will not consider charities that do not follow OnPoint’s standard for giving, which can be found within our giving guidelines. Entries received for charities that do not meet these standards will be disqualified at the sole discretion of OnPoint Community Credit Union’s evaluation.
