Here's a note from Morgan:

I’m an author, speaker, and writing teacher. I write fantasy and steampunk novels and sometimes dabble in science fiction.

I’m married to a pastor and after many years, I am now an empty-nester after raising four kids. I also love animals and currently have five fur-babies, most of whom are rescues.

I love the rain, the ocean, and the mountains, so that’s why I live in Texas (God has a sense of humor). I love a good cup of tea and almost anything related to science fiction or fantasy. During my free time, I enjoys games (both board and video), reading, and biking.

When asked if I wanted to be a writer when I grew up, the answer is no. I wanted to be a unicorn. Well, that didn’t happen, but being an author is close. In high school and college I was more of a math and science nerd. It wasn’t until my second child came along and I needed something creative in my life that I first came up with the idea for Daughter of Light. And I’ve been writing ever since.

I’m the author of multiple award-winning series including the Ravenwood Saga, Skyworld, and my upcoming Viking-inspired series, The Nordic Wars.
