✨🚗 MAGIC OF LIGHTS IS BACK! Colorado's Brightest Holiday Road Trip Returns! 🎄🐝💕

Millions of twinkling lights, larger-than-life Christmas displays, and a whole lot of holiday magic, just south of Colorado Springs!

November 20, 2026 – January 2, 2027 | Pikes Peak International Raceway, Fountain, Colorado

Parents, it's almost time to load up the kiddos, break out the Christmas pajamas, fill those travel mugs with hot chocolate, and crank up the holiday music! 🎶🎄

Because one of Southern Colorado's brightest holiday traditions is making its grand return, and we're already dreaming of all those twinkling lights!

Magic of Lights®, presented by SCHEELS, is returning to Pikes Peak International Raceway for its FIFTH season!

And here's the best part: You get to enjoy the magic from the comfort of your own vehicle.

That's right. No wrestling toddlers into snow boots. No freezing your fingers off. No chasing little ones through crowded walkways.

Just your favorite people, millions of sparkling lights, and a whole lot of "MOM! LOOK AT THAT!" coming from the backseat. 😂💕

And trust us, you're going to hear that phrase approximately 847 times!

🎄✨ Not Your Average Neighborhood Christmas Lights!

We're not talking about a few strands of lights wrapped around a tree.

We're talking MILLIONS of lights, giant illuminated displays, dazzling tunnels, and enough Christmas cheer to make even the Grinch crack a smile!

As you drive through this glowing wonderland, keep your eyes peeled for some spectacular holiday favorites:

🦕 Prehistoric Dino Christmas: Because apparently dinosaurs celebrate Christmas, too! And we're absolutely here for it.

❄️ Winter Wonderland: All the sparkle and snowy magic without having to scrape ice off your windshield.

🎁 Toyland featuring Christmas Barbie: A larger-than-life holiday toy adventure!

🎶 12 Days of Christmas: See the classic Christmas song come to life in lights.

🚛 BIGFOOT® Monster Truck: A holiday surprise for your little monster truck fans!

🦌 Reindeer Road: Because what's Christmas without Santa's favorite four-legged helpers?

🎄 Festive elves and magical holiday scenes: So many fun displays that choosing a favorite might be impossible!

And then there's one of the biggest showstoppers of all...

🌈 The 400-Foot Enchanting Tunnel of Lights!

Imagine driving beneath a glowing canopy of colorful lights stretching approximately 400 feet!

It's one of those experiences where everyone in the car gets quiet for about three seconds before the excited squeals begin again.

And yes, parents, you're allowed to be just as excited as the kids. We won't judge! 😂

With additional illuminated tunnels throughout the experience, there are plenty of opportunities to make those holiday memories shine.

🎅 WAIT! The Fun Doesn't End When the Drive Does!

Just when you think you've seen it all, there's even MORE holiday cheer waiting at the Jolly Holiday Village!

After your drive-through adventure, families can step out of the car and keep the Christmas fun going.

Depending on the evening's offerings, look forward to:

📸 Festive photo opportunities

💌 Letters to Santa

🔥 S'mores and sweet holiday treats

🎯 Holiday games and activities

🎅 Santa and plenty of Christmas cheer

It's the perfect chance to stretch those legs, snap a few family pictures, and soak up a little extra magic before heading home.

🐝 BUZZY TIP: Check the official event website for Holiday Village activities, Santa availability, and any additional costs before your visit.

💕 The Little Moments Are the BIG Memories

You know what I love about holiday traditions like this?

It's not just the lights.

It's the kids piling into the car in their Christmas pajamas.

It's everyone arguing over which Christmas song to play next.

It's the little one who spots a giant glowing dinosaur before anyone else.

It's the teenager who insists they're too old for this stuff but secretly takes 47 pictures.

It's the giggles, the excitement, and that wonderful feeling of doing something together.

Because years from now, our kids probably won't remember every present under the tree.

But they just might remember the night the whole family drove through a sparkling Christmas wonderland together.

And THAT is the kind of holiday magic we're always looking for at The Buzzy B. 🥹💕

✨ A Little Behind-the-Scenes Christmas Magic!

Ever wonder what it takes to create a holiday light spectacular this big?

Let's just say somebody deserves a seriously giant cup of hot chocolate after setting it all up!

The event's published production figures include:

2 MILLION+ LIGHTS! ✨

That's a whole lot of twinkling!

12.6 MILES OF LIGHT CORD! 🎄

Imagine trying to untangle THAT after Christmas!

3,750 STAFF HOURS PER DISPLAY BUILD! 💪

Suddenly, putting up the lights on our own houses doesn't seem quite so overwhelming. 😂

From custom-built steel frames to massive illuminated displays, there's a tremendous amount of work behind all that sparkle.

🐝 The Buzzy B's Tips for an Extra-Magical Visit!

Want to make the evening even more memorable? Here are a few ideas!

🎄 Declare it Christmas Pajama Night! Have everyone wear their coziest holiday pajamas for the ride.

☕ Bring the Hot Chocolate! Pack warm drinks in spill-resistant cups and bring a few favorite snacks.

🎶 Create a Family Christmas Playlist! Let everyone pick a few songs, even if that means listening to the same one four times. 😂

🔎 Play Holiday Light Bingo! Challenge the kids to spot reindeer, snowflakes, Christmas trees, presents, and other glowing surprises.

📸 Capture the Memories! Take a family photo before or after your visit. Keep phones safely inside the vehicle and let passengers handle pictures during the drive.

💕 Invite the Grandparents! This is a wonderful multigenerational outing that doesn't require everyone to walk long distances.

One important reminder: Keep everyone properly buckled while the vehicle is moving, follow event traffic directions, and save any out-of-car fun for designated areas.

🎁 WANT TO WIN A FAMILY NIGHT AT MAGIC OF LIGHTS?

Who doesn't love FREE family fun?!

A giveaway for family admission is being promoted for this holiday experience. However, The Buzzy B does not currently have a confirmed giveaway of its own, so we're not going to send you to another publisher's entry form and pretend it's ours.

We'll share any official Buzzy B giveaway opportunity once it's confirmed!

In the meantime, you can still plan your visit through the official Magic of Lights website.

💖 Make This the Year You Start a New Holiday Tradition!

The holidays can get expensive, overwhelming, and downright exhausting.

Between shopping lists, school activities, decorating, baking, and trying to remember which kid needs a gift for which classroom party, sometimes the season starts feeling more like a marathon than a celebration.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

Sometimes all you need is a car full of your favorite people, some Christmas music, and a few million twinkling lights to remember what this season is really about.

Making memories. Spending time together. Finding joy in the little things.

So grab those Christmas pajamas, round up the family, and get ready to make spirits BRIGHT!

Because Colorado's holiday magic is almost here, and we don't want you to miss a single sparkle! ✨🎄🐝

💕 Have you visited Magic of Lights before? Is it already one of your family's holiday traditions, or will this be your first year?

We'd love to hear about it!
