On November 17th, 2022, GensoKishi and Takanotsume Dan announced a collaborative partnership that will launch various exciting initiatives. To celebrate the start of this partnership, a lottery will be held to select 50 winners to receive a whitelist spot for the exclusive “TAKANOTSUME DAN NFT” collection!

“TAKANOTSUME DAN NFT” is the official NFT project hosted by Takanotsume Dan, which aims to be an active Web3 project not exclusive to Japan, but to the global audience.

Takanotsume Dan has accumulated a dedicated fanbase within Web2.0 as a popular IP, and to commemorate its release on Web3 with their members of their evil secret society, the project is planning to permit NFT owners to use their own “TAKANOTSUME DAN NFT” for commercial usage (*1 certain conditions apply). By allowing the NFT owners to commercially utilize their NFT, the project aims to construct a new and stronger relationship for a successful launch with their NFT owners.

*1 Certain conditions: the plan for the IP usage must be pre-approved by the management company of Takanotsume Dan.

The management team aims to work with many of its NFT owners, which can be either individuals or corporations, to collaborate commercially in as many exciting ways as possible.

There are also special projects planned where the various versions of the Takanotsume Dan characters that are made into NFTs (such as Yoshida-kun and the Chancellor) appear in future animations and movies. NFT owners will be able to enjoy their characters be part of the animation series.

With this NFT project, Takanotsume Dan hopes to form an opportunity to rethink and redefine copyright rules of Web 2.0.
