GRIME II Demo Speedrunning Competition

Take part in our first ever GRIME II demo speedrunning competition for a chance to win up to £100 GBP in Steam gift cards and a free copy of GRIME II on launch!

Before you enter, please read the rules of the competition below carefully:

1. Players must use the Livesplit Timer on their videos to verify their times;
2. Players are permitted to abuse all game mechanics and glitches to get the lowest time;
3. Players who edit their videos or try to cheat their time in any way will be immediately disqualified and ineligible to re-enter;
4. Players can submit multiple runs throughout the competition. When the competition ends, only their fastest run will be counted;
5. All entries will be verified by the developer and publisher team for GRIME Il before a winner is selected;
6. Players must play on a brand new save file. They cannot exploit any glitches that would allow them to play on an old save file.

Run Start: Time starts when you can first move.

Run End: Time ends when you absorb the Bound Shell.

Most Creative Run: £100 GBP (approx. $131 USD) Steam gift card + a free copy of GRIME II on launch

What is the Most Creative Run category?

If you're not a speedrunner or if you just like playing games in weird ways, then this is the category for you!

Want to do an entire run where you only use Dash or Parry? Can you play the entire demo on a DDR mat? What about playing the entire demo on a Smart Fridge?

You can run with whatever wild idea you can come up with as long as you're running GRIME II ANY%!

Please Note: You can submit videos for both the fastest run and the Most Creative category, but you cannot win both. If you have the fastest run, you will no longer be eligible for the Most Creative category.

You can submit your run by linking to a YouTube video. Please ensure that your YouTube video is Public or Unlisted, otherwise we won't be able to access it to verify.
