We are so excited to be working with Brady of Old Blood Noise Endeavors AGAIN! I've been following Brady for a long time (from the Walrus Audio days to the Coffee and Riffs show on YT). Brady and the team at OBNE have always pushed the envelope a bit. I was excited that he was interested in doing a combined giveaway. He sent over the BL-82 Chorus pedal, which I was very intrigued with. At first, I was assuming a Chorus... is a Chorus, but whoa, this is not your usual Chorus.
Here is a brief description from the manual:
"BL-82 is a chorus pedal within our BL line. It challenges the definition of chorus, managing to be both lush and grimy. The Clock slider moves from a shimmering three-dimensional mono chorus through to a long, deeply modulated delay, with many textures in between.
Controls include:
- Clock to affect the timing of the entire system, moving from fast and fidelitous to slow and degraded, and introducing noise as it reaches bottom
- Feedback to enhance the intensity of the chorus/increase the amount of delay repeats
- Mix to set effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet
- Volume to set overall volume
- Soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass and minimal switch noise"
