To mark the books and campaigns ahead, we are giving away a small selection of publications from Obsidian Codex Press.
The principal prize is the original Binder’s Edition prototype of John Dee’s Necronomicon, hand-bound by Loxley Books in the United Kingdom. Further prizes include a copy of the now out-of-print Necronomicon Artefact Edition, our forthcoming letterpress edition of H. P. Lovecraft’s Fungi from Yuggoth, and four separately bound copies of The King in Yellow: A Tragedy in Two Acts, normally available only with the Artefact Edition.
Grand Prize
John Dee’s Necronomicon: Binder’s Edition Prototype
Hand-sewn and bound in aged Nappa vegetable-tanned calfskin from Pisa. Printed on 100 gsm Parch Marque Vellum with naturally deckled edges, and finished with painted metal corner embellishments and a painted resin central emblem.
Unique in this form.

Second Prize
John Dee’s Necronomicon: Artefact Edition
The original 2024 Kickstarter edition, printed in 1,000 copies and now out of print.
Third Prize
H. P. Lovecraft’s Fungi from Yuggoth
A 24-page letterpress pamphlet printed by Nomad Letterpress and limited to 400 copies.

The King in Yellow: A Tragedy in Two Acts
Four new copies of the separately bound play, normally available only with the Artefact Edition.
