Today is World Environment Day!

World Environment Day 2023 is a reminder that people’s actions on plastic pollution matters. It is crucial that we take immediate action to combat the urgent issues facing our environment. To limit global warming to 1.5°C, we must reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. Failure to act will result in a 50% increase in exposure to unsafe levels of air pollution in the next decade and a near-tripling of plastic waste in aquatic ecosystems by 2040. Urgent steps must be taken to address these critical challenges.
